The
Hickory Rotary Club is singing its way into a new way of fund-raising.
"Rotarian Idol" will benefit education in Catawba County, with 100% of
the money raised going to education throughout Catawba County.
Auditions for singers will be held at the SALT Block Auditorium, Feb.
4th at 7p and Feb. 6th at 3p. Entry fee is $5. A total of 30
contestants will be chosen to compete for $2,500 1st place, $1,000 2nd
place, and $500 3rd place. All ages are eligible to compete.
